My name is Stephen Carey. My truck is a Chevy, my tea is sweet and my dog is my best friend. My heart beats rock and roll and my blood runs country.
My dad bought me my first guitar when I was 11, and I’ve been playing ever since. I also play the drums, bass and mandolin. I began singing and performing at age 13. I was lucky enough to attend Douglas Anderson School of the Arts where I was immersed in every aspect of the musical process and was able to learn from so many talented teachers and peers. My musical inspirations are broad, from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash to Van Halen, they’ve all played a part in shaping my sound. I’ve been playing in bands for 15 years, performing in countless local and national shows for crowds of 20 to 20,000, I am alive on stage.
I’ve poured my soul into these recordings. I wrote, recorded and produced every note every step of the way. I want you to listen to my songs. I want you to believe in me. This is what I was born to do, and I’ve never been more ready. Call me.
